The Delicatessen.
In our delicatessen we have a wide range of home cooked meats, pâté, pies, olives, cheeses, vinegar, oils and pre-prepared hors d'oeuvres. We pride ourselves on the quality of our produce and the way it is prepared and presented. In both our delicatessen and butchery departments we maintain the highest standards of food hygiene. All the meat and meat products are displayed in the very latest model cold counters.
Cooked Meats. We prepare a wide range of home cooked meats, these include ham, gammon, pork, beef and turkey. We stock smoked salmon, pastrami and at least six of the finest salami's available. We also offer a choice of at least eight different pâtés.
Pies and Pasties. We offer a range of home baked pies and pasties i.e. steak & kidney, steak & ale, beef & horseradish and cheese & onion. Our traditional pasties are truly superb, made with the finest beef steak and locally produced herbs and vegetables. We also have a range of large cutting pies i.e. pork, duck & orange, harvest pie, turkey & cranberry and home baked quiches.
Cheeses. In our cold counters you will find over forty different cheeses, many of these are local and include Somerset Goat, Cornish Yarg, Exmoor Blue, Devon Rustic, Dorset Blue Vinny and Green's (rind-on un-pasteurised) Cheddar (matured for 18 months).
Hors d'oeuvres & Chutneys etc. We carry an extensive range of olives including basciola and garlic, pimento and anchovy stuffed olives. Together with eight different types of char-grilled vegetables including peppers, garlic cloves and artichokes. How about award winning Somerset Chutneys - 10 different flavours to choose from. We also stock Lovingtons Ice Cream, various biscuits, oils, vinegar's and smoked fish and game from Bridport Smokery.
The Take Away Department. An extensive range of freshly made sandwiches and baguettes, Prepared on the premises on a daily basis using only the finest local produce. We expertly pre-prepare and supply platters of cooked meats, sandwiches and buffet items. These are available ready prepared and presented on decorated platters, ideal for party's or corporate entertaining.
The Hamper Service. We can supply hampers, these are made up to your specific requirements. We have in the recent past successfully dispatched our hampers to many parts of the world.
